Pastor Jim & Ruthie Bianchi

My wife and I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour as teenagers, she in 1974 and I in 1977.
We soon became founding members of our sending church, Calvary Bible Baptist in Rochester, New York.

We were married in September, 1978, and have three sons, which are all married. We have 7 grandchildren. I graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida in 1993. Upon graduation I accepted the call to be associate pastor back at my home church, where I served for 7 years in many capacities in the inner-city. In 2001 the Lord laid a burden on our hearts for the city of Toronto.

We moved to Toronto in 2005 and started a Friday night Bible study in our home. On March 13, 2006 we held the first service of the Bible Baptist Church of Metro Toronto.

Our members are the sweetest people you could meet. Others who've visited our church have commented that it's more like a family than a "church". I take that as a compliment!
